FINAL SPRING DAYS

Moved to a new place, flew back home, got a new summer job, got a new computer... Can't hold down on the spacebar and move my cursor at the same time. It's a bit inconvenient while using Photoshop. Here's a belated picture of one of my school finals.

PROCESS

Finals, moving apartments, stress... I tossed my first attempt at coloring Arrietty (drawn Ghibli style)--it was terrible. I'm not totally satisfied with this version. I wish I could just go for it with less fiddling with the opacity. Also, I realized I need to use a different brush to achieve this buttery texture I love. There's always next time.

SKETCHES, SKETCHES, SKETCHES

I feel like I'm only good at sketching now. I think my digital coloring has gone downhill. I need to get out of this rut. First one is from Amazing Nuts: Kung Fu Love. Second is from Ghibli's the Borrower Arrietty. I really wish the US brought in more international animations instead of leaving us hanging.
