PEOPLE WATCHING

There's a lot of people (both quantity and variety) who go to the museum. After browsing the art, I made some of my own.

WATER CYCLE

Doing some sketching. Doing some thinking. Buying lots of books. Unfortunately, I didn't scan my sketchbook yet, but here are some digital boards in the perspective of water.

SALOME

More Salome drawings overlaid on top of fast sketches. This time, I'm focusing on Salome's costume.

COOKIE GENERAL

This character is based on an interview of someone. College kids really need to play more card games.

CAHIER SKETCHES

Some sketches. I bought a lot of Cahier Moleskine sketchbooks, but the paper is thin and yellowed. I'm going to buy the mixed media Moleskines even though they are more expensive. At least you can draw on the front and back of the pages.

Anyway, for the pulling poses, I think I should have pushed (excuse the pun) the weight of the sketches a lot more. Think extreme. Always draw in extremes.

JOHN THE BAPTIST

Brainstorm sketches worked off of life drawings for Oscar Wilde's version of Salome. Spoiler alert:

ROSES

These are cloth roses I made with my friend's scrap fabric, a glue gun, and some beads. You can wear them on a hair clip, hairband, headband, brooch, bracelet, necklace... I think you get the idea. (The two are actually separate pieces.)

BUSINESS CARD

I posted an incoherent plan for a pop up business card earlier. But I really thought about it, and cutting and folding hundreds of them would take too much of my study time. So I decided to be like the masses and have a flat rectangular one... Maybe when I become famous I will make my pop up dreams come true.

The zeros are where my phone number will go. I just don't want to post it here.
