BLUETOOTH

I had a little problem with my usb Bluetooth transmitter thingy that I use with my Bluetooth tablet (since my computer doesn't have Bluetooth). This was my savior. Windows 7 can be so challenging. Then I celebrated by making three sketches (two to play with loose clothing and one for bon dances).

BLUSH GLOVES

Crochet fingerless gloves for a friend. I had a lot of vintage-looking ideas, but I don't think she is that much of a vintagey girl.

It's weird. Since my computer is new, I feel bad when I turn it on. However, I am sketching:

FINAL SPRING DAYS

Moved to a new place, flew back home, got a new summer job, got a new computer... Can't hold down on the spacebar and move my cursor at the same time. It's a bit inconvenient while using Photoshop. Here's a belated picture of one of my school finals.

PROCESS

Finals, moving apartments, stress... I tossed my first attempt at coloring Arrietty (drawn Ghibli style)--it was terrible. I'm not totally satisfied with this version. I wish I could just go for it with less fiddling with the opacity. Also, I realized I need to use a different brush to achieve this buttery texture I love. There's always next time.

SKETCHES, SKETCHES, SKETCHES

I feel like I'm only good at sketching now. I think my digital coloring has gone downhill. I need to get out of this rut. First one is from Amazing Nuts: Kung Fu Love. Second is from Ghibli's the Borrower Arrietty. I really wish the US brought in more international animations instead of leaving us hanging.

WALPURGIS NIGHT

Happy Walpurgis Night! ...even though this picture has little to do with the holiday. It's the protagonist in a show called Puella Magi Madoka Magika inspired by the holiday.

Here's a treat: my lines. They are messy and I'm thinking of going line-less in the future.
